Mobilizing the company’s collective human potential is becoming more necessary than ever

Mobilizing the company’s collective human potential is becoming more necessary than ever: current reflections on the crisis and its consequences have highlighted a general need for expression, attention and commitment from employees. The resilience of the company, in the face of this crisis, relies on its ability to maintain a particularly strong and sincere link with and between its employees, so that the teams build their future together. The need for meaning has been exacerbated by the period of confinement: the relationship with performance, production or growth will no longer be the same, a new relationship with employees and their experience will have to be integrated, implying spaces for free expression and an alignment between the aspirations of each individual and the mission of the company.

The year 2020 has seen a drastic change in the relationship with work, with a heightened quest for individual and collective meaning, a greater need for expression and attention, and above all, a return to the forefront of society’s fundamental values. This is a tremendous opportunity to transform the HR approach of companies through new responses to human challenges that have become strategic for rebounding from the crisis:
  • Revealing human values and mobilizing invisible human drivers
  • Supporting structural and organizational changes
  • Respond to new needs thanks to internal resources
  • Preventing risks, difficulties and malfunctions
In addition to responding to the need for meaning and cohesion, the crisis has also forced companies to manage their human resources in a much more precise and efficient way. It has become essential to rely on this resource to revive the dynamics of commitment and economic performance.
